Welcome to the website of the 2nd Annual 2008 Resuscitation Conference! This year the conference, and it has been expanded to cover three days and to include a nursing CME track. 

Sponsored by the Loren Marshall Foundation in association with the Anchorage Fire Department it is held in Anchorage, Alaska.

The 2008 conference will held June 6th, 7th, and 8th at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska.

Each morning of the 2008 Resuscitation Conference will begin with a keynote address for all attendees followed by one block or two concurrent tracks lasting one hour. The conference will break for a catered lunch 2 of the days. After lunch, blocks of one or two concurrent tracks will round out the afternoon. These blocks are one hour, thirty minutes each in length. As with 2007, Alaska Regional Hospital will be approving CME for attendance by EMTs, MICPs, RNs and MDs.

16 hour Mandatory Core Topics

This ALS refresher workshop will focus on 16 of the 24 hours of mandatory core content required by the National Registry of EMTs to meet the objectives of the DOT Advanced Refresher. This process will assist you in completing DOT Advanced Refresher requirements over a two-year period. This workshop will present content from these mandatory core content areas:

-- Airway, Breathing, Cardiology (3 hrs)
-- Medical Emergencies (3 hrs)
-- Trauma (5 hrs)
-- Obstetrics & Pediatrics (5 hrs)
